I hope no one steals this idea, I am trusting MJ Fans that no one will. I know we don't have near the resources Micheal did. But we can take our few resources we do have and put together Fundraisers to help people who visit the Website I plan to set-up; contact by writting a Letter or making a Phone Call to a specific Team's Contact Person; or, when the Recipiant of the help wants there identity known only Kristi, they could write a letter directly to Kristi and ask that no one except me know their identity. What do you think? Fans all over the United States could participate. We stay in contact through use of a Forum. Maybe people in other countries could start similar programs and we could partner with them. I think Michael would love that! My charity needs a name? Nothing using Michael's name. I don't yet have the Jackson families permission. I would never want to upset them. Kristi

Great idea, Kristi! Do you mean you want to start up your own charity, or do you want to start a group that supports a certain charity, where you do all the organizing to raise the funds?
Starting one up is not easy and would take a lot of work. You would have to treat it like a business. Or are you thinking more along the lines of what FB groups for MJ do? They pick a great cause and then ask their members to donate, setting up a Paypal link, holding fund drives, etc.
By the way, the Silenced Truth team has the full list of charities Michael supported. What a great way to make a difference. Let us know your plan!

I was think my own Charity and due to circumstances out of my control I don't work outside the home so except a few morning therapy appointments my family is fine with me working 24/7 for Michael. I just need help figuring out how to do it. If you know tell me how and I will do it. I was thinking a public Website for advertising and a private Forum for Members from different states communication. What do you think?

Well first, you should do your research. Find out everything you can to set up a charity, by googling "charitable organization" in your state. Find out what the laws are, and how to apply for a Charity registration number. You will need to develop a mission statement and a business plan. There will be a lot to do, including setting up a website, and the website could include a forum, but not necessary. If you need any other ideas, let us know! I'm sure we'd all be happy to help

Sorry, to have to ask but how are people who need help supposed to contact us! I thought I had that part figured out but now my Family are saying "no". Now What? I not gonna let this little thing like this stop me. I have worked to hard on this, and it is way, way too important to me.

You have my love and support Krisiti. I have a disability an also are limited by what I can do. I don't let it get me down. I do volunteer work at a homeless shelter. We all have special talents - don't be afraid to use yours.

What do you think about me using a MySpace page instead of a Website. Websites are a lot more expensive and would require me to get a Webmaster to help me maintain it. A MySpace page I could do it all myself and it would almost the same thing.
Love you,
Kristi

Hi Kristi, I don't think many people use MySpace anymore. Everyone goes on Facebook now, and it would be very easy for you to set up your group there. This is how a lot of groups do their fundraising.

Gret! I'll Set-up a page their but will I still need a Website to. I think I probably will since not everyone has Facebook. The only reason I thought of MySpace is trying make it so that the public can see your page! If I get a Facebook page would I still need a Website? I don't want to sound like I want to be cheap or anything I have lots of savings and I am willing to spend every penny on Michael ;D It's just the less Money I spent in one area the more I can spend in another
Love You

It is the cheapest way possible to raise money for a cause, and you won't even need another website. But you will need your own Paypal account, which is free.
Check out other fundraising groups on FB to see how they do it. And good luck!
