Well the news is NOT good! Murray was just in front of the Nevada State Medical Board and will get to KEEP his licence, for now! Even after he's charged with involuntary manslaughter? www.8newsnow.com/story/13614061/medical-board-hears-high-profile-casesQuoting the article... the board announced a settlement Friday. Dr. Murray admits to wrongdoing and will have a reprimand on his state record. He will also have to pay the cost of the state investigation against him. WOW, we should all be outraged! When exactly are they going to take away his licence? When he's being led away to prison? Where is the justice???

According to TMZ today, Murray is on his way to losing his medical licence. It's just a matter of time Murray!
Authorities Gunning for Conrad Murray's License 1/11/2011 12:45 AM PST by TMZ Staff
Sources tell TMZ ... the Medical Board of California will immediately ask the judge in Dr. Conrad Murray's preliminary hearing to yank his medical license if Murray is ordered to stand trial.
Judge Michael Pastor should rule within a week whether there's enough evidence to warrant a manslaughter trial in the death of Michael Jackson. If the judge orders a trial -- which he's expected to do -- the lawyer for the Medical Board -- who has been sitting in the courtroom -- will ask Judge Pastor to suspend Murray's license on the spot.
This will be the third attempt by the Board to suspend Murray's license. The first two attempts failed. Murray is already prohibited from administering "deep anesthetics," including Propofol.
Sources connected with Murray say he is furious that the Board is trying to suspend his ability to practice medicine, which would then make it impossible for him to pay for lawyers to defend him.
If California suspends Murray's license, it's likely the medical boards in Texas and Nevada would follow suit.

So he's furious? This is a man without emotions, and seems to be not aware of what he has done. How the hell did he lawfully administrate deep anestetics in the first place? Just asking, as far i know, only specialists on anesthetics are able to handle these dangerous drugs. Was he an anesthesia doctor/specialist?
He gave these drugs outside hospital without necessary equipment!! Dr. Murray told himself he was giving Jackson a variety of other drugs, beginning sometime after 1AM, to no avail. To NO avail? Sorry, he's lying. Even heavy drug-addicts will sleep after beeing medicated with stronger sleeping pills. He admitted given him various drugs. Didn't he know these drugs will reinforce the effect of Propofol? I am sure he did.
it seems as if he killed Michael deliberately. That is my impression now. And i really hope he loose his license and go to jail.

GOOD news! This is no longer a Rant, because we got what we wanted... JUSTICE! Am moving it under Victories, of course Dr. Conrad Murray's Medical License SUSPENDED1/11/2011 4:15 PM PST by TMZ Staff Dr. Conrad Murray's medical license has just been suspended. Judge Michael Pastor just ordered the suspension, as a condition to Dr. Murray's bail in the Michael Jackson manslaughter case. The Medical Board of California has asked the court twice before to yank Murray's license, to no avail. But minutes after ordering Murray to stand trial, Judge Pastor granted the request. Dr. Murray has 24 hours to notify the medical boards in Texas and Nevada of Judge Pastor's decision. It's a devastating blow to Murray, because he needs to practice to make enough money to pay his legal team. Murray's team believes the move is designed to take away his right to defend himself in the manslaughter trial.

Okay this sucks big time! I'm moving this thread back to Rants because Nevada and Texas are balking at taking away Murray's licence! This from the LA Times: latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2011/01/michael-jacksons-doctor-could-also-lose-medical-license-in-other-states.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_Dr. Murray's Medical Shingle Hangin' By a Thread1/12/2011 4:20 PM PST by TMZ Staff Conrad Murray's medical career may not have flatlined -- TMZ has learned the medical boards in Texas and Nevada will not automatically suspend his license just because a California judge did. Sources connected with the Texas Medical Board and the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners tell TMZ they are weighing their options regarding the suspension of Murray's medical license. Murray's California medical license was suspended yesterday as a condition of bail in his ongoing Michael Jackson manslaughter case. But we're told ... because a judge suspended Murray's license and not the California Medical Board -- TX and NV don't feel compelled to follow suit and issue suspensions in their states. We're told Murray's attorney, Charles Peckham, has been in talks with the NV med board and is making contact with TX as well -- but no word on when a final decision will be made. ++++++ These are the comments I added to TMZ's article: WOW, so Texas and Nevada think it's okay for a doctor to kill a patient, try to hide the evidence, cover his reckless mistakes, lie to on-scene paramedics, lie to emergency room doctors, lie to the patient's family, etc? This world is all going to HELL! Why keep blaming Michael for being addicted to Propofol? Who do you think was his PUSHER? DUH! Administering it every nite for 2 1/2 months for a large sum of money, of course. No worse than a regular drug pusher on the street. Murray deserves to lose his medical career... he's going DOWN!

This is unbelievable! It is as if these medical boards think that since Murray killed his patient in another state, it does not concern them. I really cannot understand how this does not happen automatically. If you lose your license in one state, you should automatically lose it everywhere. Malpractice is malpractice, it does not matter where it takes place.

Everyone in the medical profession would agree on this fact Mary Ann. Murray is a quack who violated a sacred code of ethics. He is a bozo! Don't worry he will lose his license and probably his life in prison. What a poor excuse for a human being. Let the "troot" be told.
