Here finally is an attorney and legal analyst, Matt Semino, who not only writes fairly about Michael, but is taking his side. In other words, he is a champion for the truth, and we really should commend him, and let him know that we fans appreciate him.

We've suffered through plenty of "expert" legal analysis from the likes of Jim Moret, Lisa Bloom (Gloria Allred's daughter), Jane Valdez Mitchell and, of course, the Queen of Slime, Diane Dimond. Now here's someone who demonstrates integrity and humanity as he writes about his subject and legal issues.
We must encourage and support insightful commentary by visiting Semino's article and commenting appropriately. By doing so, we'll see more Matt Semino articles in the future.
Remember:
- No Michael Jackson avatars
- Use a gender neutral screen name, not a Michael Jackson fan screen name
- Remain respectful at all times and use spell check
= Refrain from writing love letters about Michael (even though you'd like to)
As always, thanks for standing up for Michael. We will break media's negative bias against Michael Jackson.

Mr. Semino, thank you for your well balanced article. I am glad to see it points to the facts, rather than to speculation. Mr. Jackson is indeed the victim here, and everyone needs to be continually reminded of that. He put his health and well being into the hands of a professional physician he trusted, only to be misled and manipulated against his will, and ultimately because of carelessness, incompetence and neglect, his life was taken away.
Certainly, the defense will paint Mr. Jackson as an addict, but that shouldn’t be a decision maker. Whether Jackson was an addict or not does not negate Murray’s reckless actions and responsibility to his patient to do no harm. In my opinion, it does not matter what Murray’s sentence will be… my only hope at this point is to see Murray convicted of taking a man’s life, and to see justice prevail.
As you mentioned, if any good can come from his death, it is clear that policies and standards in the medical profession will need to be re-examined and re-evaluated, culminating in changes ultimately enforced, in order to affect positive social change. Michael Jackson would have at least wanted this.

I tend to be wordy when I write, but you don't have to! Please add your comments too... just a simple thank you for speaking the truth is enough. Thank you MJ's Army!
