Hi everyone..... Has anyone seen this guy called Kenny Wizz who is an MJ impersonator. He performs at Las Vegas and has been impersonating MJ for about 20 years even performing at Michael's birthday one time! Anyway he is coming to my home city in New Zealand in March. I looked on 'You Tube" and he looks seriously great. I'm going :-) Its the closest I'll ever get to going to a MJ concert. If you want to see what this guy is like just . You Tube him :-)

Susan, you are so darn lucky! I am very familiar with Kenny W, and posted about him under this board quite a while ago. He and Suleman Mirza are my favorites! One of my very favorite videos from Kenny... whenever I watch this, I cry.

Unfortunately the Kenny W concert was postponed due to the Christchurch Earthquake. He had shows in the North Island though. I hope he comes back......... Yes, he is wonderful....susanxxx

Okay all, I was amazed and blown away by Kenny Wizz and the Michael Jackson HIStory concert. WOW WOW WOW!!! He says he's coming back next year and you can bet I WILL BE THERE! I just posted my review at TicketMaster and here it is: Kenny Wizz was INCREDIBLE!

That is how impressed I am with Kenny Wizz. The band and the dancers were phenomenal as well... LOTS of hard work went into this. No wonder their home base is Vegas! I've known of him for a long time, having watched countless videos on YouTube of his performances and interviews from all over the world. He is INDEED the BEST MJ impersonator out there, and I'm so glad he came to Winnipeg! (I really didn't think he ever would!) He even said he will be back next year and you can bet I WILL BE THERE! Kenny amazes you with his hard work and dedication in getting all of Michael's moves, voice, facial expressions, body language DOWN, plus he even came up with his own moves that WORK! Incredible to watch, especially since he resembles Michael so well. My seat was fantastic, by the way. Fourth row on the floor so that I could see him up close and personal. I'd have to say he did add a bit more sexuality to Michael's performance, but I truly didn't mind  I also loved how he interacted with the audience a lot, ran into the crowd and to the back of the arena more than once, and his show encompassed a lot of MJ gems that MJ himself never performed on stage. I was blown away by the Smooth Criminal and Dangerous dances... and when the crowd got on its feet for Billy Jean, yes you could definitely see Michael up there on stage... just one more time. All I can say is, I was never fortunate enough to see Michael Jackson perform live, but now I can say I have. Favourite moment: The most poignant moment was when Kenny sang Gone Too Soon while pictures of Michael flashed across the screen. Had me sobbing, as many others were. ++++++ God Bless You Kenny Wizz! |
