Like I bet a lot of you, I am still reeling in shock at the verdict, that Casey will walk away free for murdering her daughter. The jury didn't see it that way though. They bought her lame excuse (yet another lie) that she and her father panicked after Caylee drowned in the pool, and threw her baby away like garbage.
Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous? Especially knowing George Anthony is a former cop, it's the very LAST thing he would do. It's just another lie, as well as her alleged child abuse, that the jury believed once they came to feel sorry for her. It was obvious to me and almost everyone else on the planet that Casey grew tired of her responsibilities as a mother, and killed Caylee so she could move in with her boyfriend and party with her friends like any other 23-year old.
I'm ranting about this case because, from the beginning, I saw so many similarities with Murray's defense. Both Casey and Murray lied through their teeth, changed their stories, and took their time calling 911. It was a slam dunk in my opinion, that we would see justice for little Caylee, and for Michael.
But now we've found out there will be NO justice for Caylee, and I cried for this sweet innocent baby who didn't deserve to die. I also cried for Michael, because with just a shadow of a doubt, Murray's jury could decide the same thing, and set him free.
I'm really at a loss for words... I was so SURE and I had faith that Michael will be vindicated, and his killer will be charged with taking his life. But now with Casey's verdict, I'm not so sure anymore
The Prosecution has such a STRONG case against Murray... it sure seemed like a no-brainer. But then, that's what we thought about Casey Anthony, and look what happened.
Your thoughts?
