I'm a bit confused about the forum and where to post different topics. I don't understand all the words for the subjects, but I'll post this here. Have anyone thought about getting a MJ tattoo? His face, his shoes, the globe, lyrics, anything? At the moment I want to tattoo «Make that change» on my wrist. That would be so awesome and very beautiful! The only "problem" is that Michael didn't write the song... Anyway I won't tattoo anything in some years from now. 1) Because now everyone are talking about him and people go like «can't we finish the drama about MJ?» etc etc - you know that thing... Right now Michael Jackson is a very trendy subject, but that won't last forever. Until the press and people around me have "comed down", I will stay untattooed And 2) I wan't to be completely sure what I wanna tattoo. Does anyone have plans to get a tattoo? Love Ida

Hello Ida, I'm ready to tattoo something about mj but still not that ... and I like the right chest near the heart or spine where it ends at the coccyx, maybe I like slippers, but I'm thinking because it's something I'll never take away so I have to be sure of it I, though I love the always bear in my heart, it is safest if you do.
kisses and blessing ivonne

Hello Ida,
I've seen photos of people's tatoos with the MJ logo. Personally, I love tatoos as an art form. I don't think I would do one myself though because I'm constantly changing my mind I would be worried if I want to change it later on. I've wear temporary tatoos lots of time though. I paint them myself and last 5 days. I keep changing them ;D
You can do whatever you want with your body as long it makes you feel good. I think is a good idea to wait a little bit until you are absolutely sure of what you want to tatoo. Not like my boyfriend's nephew who's 19 years old and came to visit recently, he tatoo a huge "Virgen de la Guadalupe" on his back! ;D That's what kid's do cause they are impulsive and there was no way to talk him out of it. The tatoo was ok...I like that image a lot but it wasn't great! I would have put a little bit of thought first. Who knows if in 10 years time he will regret it.....

Hi Ida,
I am not personally into tattoos, but if that's what you want to do, go for it. And don't worry what others think. A tattoo is a very personal thing and is no one's business but yours.
It doesn't matter that Michael didn't originally write it. The words "Make that change" were important to Michael so if he said it and meant it, I don't see why not! It depends on whether you are willing to make that change yourself.
Just my humble opinion.

I agree with Jacque. Remember, he said "I don't sing it if I don't mean it"
I've been thinking of a tattoo also, but I haven't decided yet what kind or where to put it.

Hmm, I think perhaps a globe with his shoes dancing would be a very cool tat. But I also like the lyrics idea As Mary Ann said, a tat is a or should be a very personal thing- so something that totally resonates with you

Right on! If I had to get a tatoo, I would choose "Make a difference" because Michael inspired me to do just that, and I want to share that message.
Change the world!

It seems that "Make a difference" and "Change the world" are mottos I strive to live by now. But I didn't have the choice... it was a divine intervention that changed me! Michael sure works in mysterious ways Ohhh, I do love that message as well Mary Ann!! That would be a great tat- lol if I were so inclined to get one- alas I can only think about it due to health reasons But it is fun to dream
