As far as inspirations that MJ left here on earth for us, this excerpt at the end of his personal reflection called "Dance of Life" (in Dancing the Dream) is one that I have read again and again as a way to connect with his essence, which has not died but merely transformed ... into a smile, into music. It also reminds me of the transitory nature of my own life. In his words ...
They say that some of the stars that we see overhead aren't really there. Their light takes millions of years to reach us, and all we are doing is looking into the past, to a bygone moment when those stars could still shine.
"So what does a star do after it quits shining?" I ask myself. "Maybe it dies."
"Oh no," a voice in my head says. "A star can never die. It just turns into a smile and melts back into the cosmic music, the dance of life." I like that thought, the last one I have before my eyes close. With a smile, I melt back into the music myself. ~MJJ

Hi Melissa,
I love that line too from Dancing the Dream. It is so magical - so Michael.
And indeed Michael, our star on earth, has turned into a smile - that beautiful smile that melts our hearts and will remember the rest of our lives.

thank you Melissa for sharing this... I love stars... One of my motto's since I was in High School was: SHINING STAR FOR YOU TO SEE WHAT YOUR LIFE CAN TRUELY BE... I write that on everything lol...
I love when he said " A star can never die. It just turns into a smile and melts back into the cosmic music..." L.O.V.E. it...

"I melt back into the music myslef"
One resounding message that Mike says to me over and over again is this: LISTEN TO THE MUSIC and you will HEAR.
We're listening Mike...we're listening...

I love this poem; I give it often to people I meet; them same manner I like Lok again baby seal; I sended it aith a new years card of a baby seal to several people; we can learn a lot of this textMichael has written in the poem of the elephants that the animals are putting all their thrust in us , that we are going to make that change and save the world, Now it is up to us to thrust our selves and make that change; It is what michael says in man in the mirrior: You like it, you like it: what? giving, giving is what we like the most and of all the gifts to give our unconditunal love is the most precious and wanted gift to receive and also to give
From Bliss I came In Bliss I am sustained Join me in my dance
We can feel a bit of this bliss when we are delighted by something: by receiving something or giving something with our hearts; it is a very healthty feeling, health in latin is: homeostasis, this means, the state of wellbeing, the state of delight we are in; When we are that wise angels can reach us, because they can communicate with us when we are like this, because they are made of delight,; according to Michael, in his poem of the angels.
I love you all so much and I still feel the connecting with the army members yet to come to the army; I wish you all an innocent new year!
