Thank you Norma! Unfortunately, I don't have Starz or BET here in Canada, but I hope those specials eventually make it to YouTube.

I did get to watch the show about Michael's children and what they will be doing in future. This documentary gets a thumbs up from me!
However, I also saw an older NASTY documentary featuring Diane Dimond, Bob Jones, Ian Halperin and other ex-staff of Michael's who carry a huge grudge because they were FIRED or were just GREEDY to get PAID for coming up with lies about Michael!
If you see this in your TV listings, RUN THE OTHER WAY! It's nasty, hurtful and full of crap! "Michael Jackson: What Really Happened"
When you watch something like that, you get to realize just the kind of crap Michael was up against. I just wish he would have fought the lies while he was living. We need to fight for JUSTICE for Michael!

Other Guests appearing on the Special Broadcast include Christina Aguilera, Marc Anthony, LL COOL J, John Landis and Smokey Robinson
New York - June 23, 2010 — CBS News' THE EARLY SHOW will celebrate music icon Michael Jackson's cultural and musical legacy with a special broadcast edition, "The King Of Pop: One Year Later," paying tribute to the star on Friday, June 25 (7:00-9:00 AM, ET/PT), the one-year anniversary of his death. As part of the homage to Jackson, THE EARLY SHOW will dedicate the entire eight o'clock hour to the legend, including an exclusive live performance of Jackson's hit, "Man in the Mirror," by BRIT award-winning singer/songwriter James Morrison in London. In addition, some of the biggest names in music and entertainment will share their memories of Jackson throughout the broadcast.
"We wanted to mark the one-year anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson in a very special and unique way," said David Friedman, Executive Producer, THE EARLY SHOW. "Dedicating an hour of our broadcast to one of the biggest music icons of all time, including a live performance from London and celebrity reflections on Jackson, is a distinctive way to pay tribute to a legend."
The special broadcast will include thoughts about the late star's legacy from celebrities, including Christina Aguilera, Marc Anthony, LL COOL J and Smokey Robinson. John Landis, who directed "Thriller" (1985 Grammy Award winner for best long-form video) and "Black and White," will also appear live from London to talk about Jackson.
Grammy award-winning artist and "NCIS: LOS ANGELES" star LL COOL J shared his thoughts about Michael Jackson with THE EARLY SHOW: "What we didn't lose is his legacy and that incredible catalog and body of work. What we didn't lose is all the film and all the video and all the tape of those incredible concerts all around the world on a global level. We didn't lose any of that. At the press of button, we can still experience the magic. We still have 'This is It,' which I think is something everyone should own. So we didn't lose everything." He added, "We may have lost the man, but we didn't lose the legacy. The legacy is actually bigger than that one human being. That legacy touched millions."
THE EARLY SHOW is broadcast weekdays (7:00-9:00 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Harry Smith, Julie Chen and Maggie Rodriguez are the anchors of the broadcast, and David Friedman serves as executive producer.

Thanks Jacque. I happened to catch this one on the Early Show and it was great! 2 thumbs up! If you can find it on YouTube, please post. I also watched really good specials on CNN, Dateline NBC and on 20/20. Be sure to catch them on YouTube when and if they get posted. Update: Here's a short clip of the 20/20 interviews... get out the kleenex! (sob) www.youtube.com/watch?v=MANxLNbkn9c

That 20/20 interview was really moving. These are the people we need to hear from. These are the people that knew and loved him. Sigh ...

Here's what I could find on the Dateline: "Michael Jackson: A Mother's Story" show: www.msnbc.msn.com/id/37936651/ns/dateline_nbc-newsmakersFrom the comments, it appears that this is not the whole interview. Also, Dateline doesn't appear to have a video of the interview, unfortunately. I enjoyed watching this show more than the 20/20 show, as it was mostly an interview with Katherine Jackson, speaking from her heart. The 20/20 show talked about more sensitive (to us fans) issues and also included a few comments from people that have questionable motives, such as someone from TMZ and Tohme Tohme, etc. Also, we got to see glimpses of her new book "Never Can Say Goodbye" as she paged through it. Both shows, however, talked about Michael's finances and debt and Dateline mentioned that Katherine needed the money generated from the sale of her book. So no show about Michael is ever perfect, but I still really enjoyed watching Dateline's interview with Katherine. Of course, this doesn't mean I didn't cry while watching it! We LOVE you and MISS you SO MUCH, Michael!!
