I will be attending an online chat session later today on Ustream with LACRA Speaks Out, a civil rights group in LA. Normally I wouldn't attend, but the California fan club has invited its members to come listen to Amy talk about issues surrounding Michael and especially about Justice4MJ: via The Official Michael Jackson Fans of Southern California... Please tune in to the show tomorrow (5:30 p.m. CST). It should be good. Justice4MJ will be in the house at www.ustream.tv/channel/lacraspeaksout/v3 Many topics to discuss, fans attacking others will be one of them. +++++++ This is an especially interesting topic for me, since I have been watching some recent infighting within the California fan club happening on Facebook, and I'm not happy about it. I'm sure they have gotten a lot of complaints as well, and that's why the fighting has stopped. I will report back here if there's anything our members should know! Mal

Hi again, I'm just reporting back on this meeting held by Eddie Jones Jr. with the Los Angeles Civil Rights Association (LACRA). And of course, the Justice4MJ group was invited to attend. It was great to see Amy and Erin live, and I really liked Eddie. He's a really good speaker and has very strong convictions... I remember seeing this good man make a speech for justice outside the courthouse at one of Murray's court appearances, and wondering who he was. Now I know! He spoke about the "players" that Justice4MJ are targetting as co-conspirators in Michael's death, or those taking Murray's side, such as Tohme Tohme, John Branca, AEG, Sony and Steve Cooley, the LA D.A. I personally don't believe in the conspiracy theory. I understand that fans are passionate, I really do. But the incompetent Dr. Murray is the only one who killed Michael, and for that, I believe he will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I HAVE TO believe that. The others may have had a role in trying to profit from MJ, but then didn't all of his staff?? And no, Michael was not FORCED to do 50 concerts. Michael was a master when it came to his own self promotion... for instance, before every tour he would say it would be his last. This of course makes the fans want even more, and he knew that. So when the first 10 dates were announced, it was already planned by Michael, Sony and AEG that more would be added. They just didn't know how MUCH more to add until they saw the initial fan response... 10 concerts sold out in 2 HOURS! I don't believe that Michael's will is invalid either. We are all glad to see that his mother and his children will benefit for years to come, and that's what counts! There, I've said it! I know I'll get comments on my beliefs, but please keep them civil. I will not allow bullying or bashing at this forum, like I'm seeing on Facebook. Then Erin spoke about some dissention within their group. It's very sad to know that one member has not only criticized (or threatened) the Jackson family including Katherine, but is now threatening Amy, who has gotten a restraining order to deal with her in court. How very sad that it has come to this! I know there's one in every crowd, but it's so upsetting to me... aren't we all on the same team? Aren't we all fighting for the same thing, for justice? For the truth? Let's all rally TOGETHER, instead of fight amongst each other! I see constant bashing in FB or on Twitter just for someone voicing their own thoughts, and it's so disgusting. It may not be as extreme as Amy's case, but it's not what Michael would want. Eddie also questioned the issue of some fans refusing to support Sony by purchasing any of Michael's CDs, DVDs or even his new album coming out in November. He told everyone to please support Michael's children and his mother by purchasing the new album, and I agree! They will get a portion of the profits, which they so rightly deserve to get according to Michael's wishes. People, GET A GRIP! This should be in the Rants category Anyway, after their meeting they partied, all singing Michael's songs! You can watch clips for yourself here and draw your own conclusions: www.ustream.tv/channel/lacraspeaksout/v3Eddie Jones Jr. also requested that anyone can add him as a friend on FB. I welcome your comments, even if you don't agree with me. Namaste, Mal

I just attended another LACRA meeting on Ustream today because I heard Joe Jackson would be calling in. Eddie Jones and Geraldine Hughes were hosting, and talking about how they will be there at the courthouse on Monday, Aug. 23, along with lots of other fans, showing their support for the Jackson family.
They also requested that fan groups need to stop fighting and bashing each other over their different opinions. Eddie mentioned that Michael was all about love, and he wouldn't have wanted to see this. And I agree! Eddie was referring to recent dissention within the JUSTICE4MJ group, which thankfully has quieted down on Facebook and Twitter.
Then Joe Jackson called in to say hello to the fans, and thanked us all on behalf of his family, for our ongoing support. He believes that we will see justice, maybe even on Monday. I believe we will too... at least some form of justice. We really need to see some as it's been such a long time coming!
Mr. Majestic, Joe's cohort, also called in to say hi to the fans, and he said he would relay our good wishes to the Jackson family, who appreciate our love and support very much.
Amy from JUSTICE4MJ is setting up a Ustream channel which will provide a live feed to their group at the courthouse on Monday. I will add it here when I get the info. There will also be a live feed on TMZ's site.
JUSTICE for Michael!

My heart goes out to the entire Jackson family. The have had to endure more pain and sorrow than most do to the media's ignorance and disrespect of their brother. As for Jusitce4Mj you really need to grow up and act like mature adults. You are not going to help anyone if you act like a bunch of juveniles. Additionally, this includes any idiots who are vandalizing the Great Mausoleum who are supposed to be fans. As for the quick and prompt prosecution of Conrad Murray it won't make a difference if you are there. Why don't you write a letter to the judge in charge of Michael's trial. Give the Jackson's some peace, after all they deserve this during this time of mourning. There are more productive and senstive ways to show your love for MJ.

I haven't been here in a while. It hasn't been for any reason other than I've just been doing so many other things. However, I think it may be time for me to cut out permanently. I don't really have a concrete opinion on whether or not there really was a conspiracy. What I do have a very strong opinion on is any fan telling other fans to "GET A GRIP". That is at least as disrespectful as anything going on on social networking sites. I also have a huge problem with anybody that wasn't with Michael 24/7 acting as if they know what strains he may have been under with the ill-fated concerts, or any other part of his life, for that matter. Also, though I don't think fans should show show up at the court, I do respect peoples' right to attend.... as long as they act respectful. Some do & it's incredibly unfair to paint all of the fans that attend, or all of Justice4MJ, with such a broad brush. That is what's truly "juvenile". I don't think I'll be back here ever again.

Too bad you feel that way, alijoy. But I respect your opinion and you should respect mine. Not everyone is going to agree with me, and that’s fine. That’s what this forum is for, to provide an opportunity for respectful discussion. When I tell some fans to GET A GRIP, it’s because I get angry watching all the bashing back and forth. It’s the promoting of hate amongst the fans, not love, and it makes me very sad… this is the last thing Michael wanted.
I agree Michael was under a lot of pressure to put on his This Is It concerts. But there’s no doubt in mind he would have pulled them off rather successfully. After all, he was a pro. But what you’re accusing ME of is exactly what the crazed, hate-filled so-called fans are thinking, that they KNOW what Michael was going through. How would they know??? We can all only imagine, but remember that he was really looking forward to doing these concerts! These concerts would have been his big comeback, and he would have thrilled everyone including the media, proving to the world once again he was still the King.
About your third point, I re-read what I wrote about JUSTICE4MJ and I can’t see how you think I blame all of them or paint them “with such a broad brush.” I just don’t like the dissention within the group, caused by some crazed person with her own agenda. Ask any JUSTICE4MJ member about this, and they’ll agree with me. I believe that Amy’s and Erin’s hearts are in the right place, and for the most part, I happily support what they’re doing to seek justice for MJ.
With love and respect,
Mal
