I like the song Breaking News, I really do! Sounds like a classic MJ song and the message is perfect. Even though it's created huge controversy and a firestorm amonst the fans, I sincerely hope fans do NOT boycott the album. We want "Michael" to break all records... to show the world once again who really is the KING! But I'm not worried at all. I know everything will work out... I have a really good feeling about this. We need to look past all this melodrama and think positively towards the future. I posted the following tweet about Teddy Rily somewhere else at this forum... just can't find it now LOL @teddyriley1 has apparently revised #breakingnews song, so we hear a less processed #MichaelJackson singing This is fantastic news! Because of the fan uproar, Teddy went back into the studio to rework the song, so I'm really hoping when we get the album, there will be NO doubt that it's our sweet MJ. Our friend Jesse has posted another great video on this subject... on how we all need to get a grip Thank you and I love it! It's all for L.O.V.E. Mal

Thank you Judith, and thanks for the laugh! I really hope fans (and the rest of the world) will embrace this album... the first new music we have heard from Michael. Let's all just be patient.

Here's good news about the new version for Hold My Hand AND Breaking News! Harvey Levin from TMZ just personally posted again, and has glowing remarks! Imagine an online tabloid loving MJ... beautiful! Michael Jackson Song -- Akon Came Back to Finish11/12/2010 3:30 PM PST by TMZ Staff It's Harvey ... I've just heard Michael Jackson's first single, "Hold My Hand" -- not the one that leaked a few years ago, but the one Sony is about to release. First of all, it's great -- slower than a lot of MJ's songs. Our sources say Akon recently came back to the studio to lay down more vocals and really put the finishing touches on it. It sounds more produced than the "Breaking News" song that was put online this week. It's a classic, Akon-type song and it seems like Michael takes on Akon's style. His voice fluctuates like Akon's and there's a similar tonal quality. As for "Breaking News," I just heard the finished version. It's more produced than the one Sony put online and sounds more classic MJ. This is going to be a huge album. ++++++ YAY! Notice what Harvey said again I'm posting this at other threads so everyone sees it. As for "Breaking News," I just heard the finished version. It's more produced than the one Sony put online and sounds more classic MJ.

Okay, more breaking news! Randy Jackson is going to be on Twitter again on Wednesday, November 17th at 9:00 p.m. CST. He will be answering all of our questions, addressing such things as:
- MJ's vocals on the new album - Michael's children on Oprah - Kelvin Mackenzie's horrible comments on ITV This Morning
Please be sure to follow me on Twitter at mjsarmy1 You will be able to see his answers happening live! I really hope that he fully supports Michael's album, but really I don't even know! What we really want him to do is go after ITV This Morning for some kind of apology... I suppose we will soon find out!

I think it will be a good CD. I ordered one for my daughter off of Amazon and one for me off of the Sony/Epic site, just to do my very small part to boost ratings. That will be on of our Christmas presents each. Though I can't wait and will download it the day it is released I think I may have been possible one of the minority group on this site who actually thinks/ thought MJ was singing on the track, or maybe not. I knew there were backup vocals by this James Porte. I still like it pretty well. It reminds me of Tabloid Junkie quite a bit.

You're right, Alicia that we can't all agree. And you're not the only one here who thinks it's MJ singing. My hope is that our discussions are always respectful and diplomatic here, no matter what we think. What I know you want for sure is that MJ's album will be a huge success, and I want that too. I am really really against the Sony boycott idea... but that won't work anyway, so I'm not worried I've just come back from Randy's session on Twitter. Still trying to process what he said... hmmm. First of all, I'll say that he and the rest of the family are still grieving SO much for Michael. They have a big beef with McClain and Sony because all they see is McClain and Sony working hard to make money for the estate and themselves, and that really bothers them. He said it bothers him that they care more for money than Michael, but I don't see it that way at all. He is obviously in so much pain still, missing his brother so much. He resents both the executors and Sony, saying they didn't care for Michael, but I don't believe that either. He said they didn't even attend his funeral, and that bothered him. I tweeted back that they probably didn't feel comfortable attending... that it was more for family and close friends. I do understand where he's coming from though... he's speaking from grief. He and the family also don't believe some of the songs are sung by Michael. He said that when McClain went looking for Michael's songs, he didn't find enough to fill an album with 10 songs. So this explains why some fans didn't hear a lot of Michael on Breaking News. But what he said also doesn't make sense to me, because we've all heard over and over that Michael left hundreds of songs in his vault. Could it be that the estate doesn't have access to them? He also said that McClain wouldn't let the family go to the studio to hear the songs being worked on for the album. This brings up a lot more questions than answers, but to sum it all up, I was disappointed with Randy's view of everything. It's clear to me he doesn't fully support the album... I tweeted that he has to understand that Michael wanted his fans to enjoy his music, and we will! It's also not fair that he has a beef with the executors, who are making these deals in order to provide for the children... exactly what Michael wanted. Yes of course, Sony and the executors want to profit too... Randy just can't get past that. Because of his grief, he just can't see the bigger picture. How I wish he understood what Michael wants now

Yes, grief can certainly cloud ones perspective on many issues. I don't understand why the family wasn't allowed to hear the music. Perhaps, they must relinquish the rights to do this because of legal stipulations. How frustrating for the entire Jackson family. I think Randy just wants to protect his brother even in death. After, everything Michael went through in life its an automatic response. A human reaction precipitated by fight or flight ideals. I don't know how Randy could put anything in perspective after all the lies and hate the media has conjured up. Anyway , I see a brother protecting a brother. I feel I tried to protect Michael after he passed away also. Writing letters to politicians about Murray's convictions and contacting Forest Lawn and about allowing fans at Mj's crypt. He will always act as a brother and thats ok with me. I can't imagine all the falsehoods he has to hear everyday. My love to all the Jackson's for having the courage to put up with disrespect. You can't please everyone.

I listened to the album last week, and I really think it's MJ singing. He has this way of singing that is just like "She's out of my life" and it is a hard thing to imitate. The voice is as clear as Michael's was. When I listen to it, I feel it is him. Of course not all the song would be his voice because it probably was imcomplete when he passed away, so my guess is they may have injected some of his expressions, and sounds to fill the song a bit, because otherwise it would be pretty empty, given the fact that it was not done. None theless, I don't care. The songs are pretty good except for one, and the music and beats are amazing. True genius even with an unfinished product. On another note, I bought the collection of music videos of MJ. All of them full length. I was surprise at what a good actor he was, especially in the Bad video at the begining before all the singing. I would've like to have seen him in a contemporary movie. It would have been fun.

Thanks for your opinion, Mariepaula. We already came to that same conclusion... go read the Fact Check board. I'm curious though... which song don't you like? Please add your thoughts at our poll if you haven't already!
