What really bothers me and makes me CRINGE everytime, is when the tabloid press calls Michael "wacko Jacko." It is such a horrible, nasty name and Michael never deserved that. He hated that name and I don't blame him one bit. I can't think of any other celebrity who was treated so badly by the press, and this was long before the molestation allegations. Since MJ passed, I have been keeping up with TMZ on the latest, since they seem to get the news first. But when they started using the name Jacko, I started emailing them with a complaint. I've done that twice, and since then they have stopped! YAY! You can be sure I will continue getting on their case about it, if needed. One tabloid down, one thousand to go Make a difference!

Wow, you are really MJ's number one warrior. This is the reason why the MJs Army been created from the first place. We are here to change the world and bring back the pure legacy for MJ.
I am curious what did you tell the tabloid that made them change and at least have some decency now?
Thanks Mary-Ann. I so agree with you: one tabloid down, one thousand to go
I love you more, Ann

Thanks Ann,
I just did what I could, that's all. I told TMZ to please stop using that name because Michael has millions of fans around the world who would not appreciate it.
It doesn't mean they will stop doing it, but I am going to keep after them until they do! I would love for anyone else who comes across a tabloid website to straighten them out if it's required!
Change the world!

Good work Mary-Ann!
I tend to stay away from tabloid news sites because I feel that as long as people go to them and/or buy their printed material they will just keep printing the same garbage.
But we can really use our voice to send the message that while we all want to read about Michael, we won't read trash...so if they keep printing it and/or publishing it online, they'll be shooting themselves in the foot.
The best way for them to stay in business is to print the truth about Michael. There may have been a time when the crap sold more copies and drew more site visitors, but those days are over.
More and more, people are demanding the truth and are willing to pay for printed issues and/or online subscriptions to hear it.
Awesome use of your voice! Keep up the good work!

Thanks I understand why you want to stay away from tabloid news sites, but I like to know what's going on... not necessarily about celebrities because I'm not a tabloid junkie, but sometimes important issues do come up and I like to stay informed. Plus how else would I know that Michael isn't being respected like he should be? Part of our forum's purpose is to crusade against hate speech and lies concerning Michael. I am happy to champion his good name in any small way I can. Mary-Ann Good work Mary-Ann! I tend to stay away from tabloid news sites because I feel that as long as people go to them and/or buy their printed material they will just keep printing the same garbage.

Let's hope that the tabloid press in general changes their view of Michael, and from now on starts reporting the facts, not made up insinuations, allegations, etc. of what they think he was. I already see that they are eating their hateful words since the coroner's report came out. That Michael was relatively healthy, not full of prescription and illegal drugs like they were alleging. And as for the Rabbi and his tapes coming out, I see this as a positive thing! This is just my opinion. I know others may not agree with me on this, and that's okay. As I mentioned in today's conference call, I am actually starting to see a softening towards Michael from the tabloid press since the tapes came out. I notice that they are no longer bashing him, calling him names, or trying to dig up dirt on him. Finally! I am really excited about this! It was so disgusting to watch when they were still bashing him, showing zero respect to someone who just passed! Now I find that they have a sympathetic tone to their reporting. To me, this change in attitude means that people are listening to the tapes or reading the book, and finding out who Michael really was. Not some weird caricature that they made up in their minds, but a human being. We all know that once someone is humanized, they can be much more easily related to. To me, this is a victory! If this means that the press and the public in general are softening their hearts towards Michael the person, then I am all for it! It's all about love, L.O.V.E. Mary-Ann
